shields - books from other cultures on energetic blocks

Having run a very successful practitioners training with Shazadee last week-end, with lots of brilliant input from the participants, my understanding and fascination about shields is growing exponentially. I am determined to understand these shields and their impacts on people's lives more fully. An immediate lack of time right now stops me from sharing my hypotheses with you all, but looking forward to doing so.

I wonder whether anyone has any recommendations of books that talk about energetic shields or barriers in any way. I am particularly interested in books from other cultures Africa, Asia, the Hunas etc, who are generally much moreaware of energy systems. Apparently Alice Bailey has talked a lot about blocking incoming energy, but not sure which book.

I am going on holiday over Easter and would love to stock up with interesting books on the subject before I go, since I will have plenty of time to contemplate my ideas then.

Your help would be much appreciated.
