Hello,

My name is Timur and I'm a relative newbie in the field of energy
psychology as well as hypnosis and NLP (so pretty much all of
the 'fashionable' change technologies out now =) ).

About a week ago I received the ET manual and read it all the way
through. Since then I've been practicing ET as much as I can.

I seem to have hit a metaphorical wall though. Although I can feel
emotions in my body and can track them as well as get them to move, I
have some difficulty in locating an exit point and letting the
emotion/energy flow out.

So far, I've been working on the emotions which come up when I decide
to use some technique to change something about myself. Its like a
big emotion in the throat and chest, which sometimes goes to the
stomach. It blocks pretty much all my attempts to change (even EFT
never seemed to work very well for me), so I naturally decided to
take this block out first.

So far, I had success in moving it and getting it to soften some, but
the energy doesn't really dissipate. It seems to just move and move
and move, and still stay where it was when I started moving it (the
throat is especially resilient to any attempts at softening and
movement)

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to overcome this
obstacle/wall?

Timur
