----- For
Dear Sylvia,
I think this is very relevant for Emotrance.I have just begun " Jin Shin
jytsu "( a form of Ancient Energy Healing ) which has an uncanny
resemblance to Emotrance(or what I have gathered of emotrance so far).
I am pasting the intro here..and you can go one of the main site...I hope
this opens up and enhances Emotrance more..
"Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient Japanese art that harmonizes and balances
your energy using some of the same principles as acupressure and
acupuncture. However, it doesn’t require the use of needles, herbs,
massage, muscle manipulation or deep pressure. It is a gentle art, practiced
by placing the fingertips (over clothing) on designated safety energy
locks, to harmonize and restore the energy flow. Your can do it yourself or
it can be done by a practitioner by gently placing fingertips on specific
body points.
Your body contains many energy pathways that feed life into your body’s
cells. If these pathways become blocked, you may feel discomfort or even
pain. Eventually this blockage will not only disrupt the localized area,
but it will throw your whole energy flow out of balance. With the practice
of Jin Shin Jyutsu, it is believed that there are twenty-six safety energy
locks along the energy pathways in your body. When any of these pathways
become blocked, disharmony and/or illness results. By holding these safety
energy locks in specific combinations with your hands, you can bring
balance back to your mind, body and spirit"

Just a quick note.
We have been talking for a while about aspect generators, i.e.
occurrences in any MET treatment but especially EFT where you treat
one aspect after the next and they are like the broomstick in the
Mickey Mouse version of the Sorcer's apprentice- the more you take
down the more sprout immediately again.
Clearly, there is an unresolved energetic occurrence which drives all
of that and I just had a good idea on what this might be.
I have been thinking for a while that these aspects like, for example,
"I'm stupid, I'm unworthy, I don't deserve to live, I am unlovable, I
am an idiot, I am evil" and so on and so on are not actually
statements of belief but indeed, they are *answers to a question*
which generates these answers endlessly.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were a very limited number of such
underlying questions (open loops) in any one individual's neurology.
I have encountered some of these and an example of an underlying
question that if it is not answered successfully or conclusively, will
generate literally endless "negative" "answers" in return just for as
long as the question remains open is:
"How could they do that to me?"
With an egocentric and/or child standpoint, of course most of the
answers would be first person (can't be anything else). Later you
might get other answers about "them" which do not help to alleviate
the confusion or answer the question.
I think this is a practically helpful notion in many circumstances so
I thought I'd better send it out before I forget,
good nite
