Ive found this afew times with clients. But once the 'tension' has softened, (so they can feel *something*) even if they cant feel where the energy *flowed to*, it has obviously dispersed somewhere. If Ive tested again with the trigger in as many forms as I can (ie using loud or different voice tones/ facial expression as well as the words, to increase the quantity/quality of energy sent to the client) and there's no more emotional or physical reaction/tension, I'd consider it clear on that aspect.

However, I have sometimes had cases where the energy dispersed and felt clear physically but they still felt some emotional response to the trigger, but the physical sensation was obviously too subtle for them to feel. In this case, I switched to EFT for the last couple of SUDs levels.

  What have you found most helpful when working with clients who apparently have very little body-awareness and can't feel where the energy wants to go, once the tension is softened?
